Cade is a mobile application that provides personalised cadence coaching for runners. It is developed and maintained by Botz Limited, trading as Morph. We are based in the United Kingdom.
When you create a Cade account, we collect your email address, verified via a one-time code. You also provide your date of birth and gender during setup, which we use to calculate age-appropriate cadence targets.
When you connect Strava, we access your Strava profile picture and run history. For all of your Strava runs, we pull distance, average cadence, and pace to calculate your baseline and track your progress over time. For runs that match a guided session you completed in Cade, we also pull deeper data for that specific run, including detailed cadence, heart rate, elevation, and route information, so we can give you more precise coaching feedback on that session.
We do not access payment information or any other Strava data beyond what is needed for cadence coaching.
Your session history within Cade is stored securely in the cloud. All underlying run data lives in Strava. We do not duplicate or separately store your raw run history.
We process your data under the following legal bases, in accordance with UK GDPR:
We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. If you request deletion, we delete your account and all associated data within 7 days, as described below. If your account is inactive for 24 months with no login, we will delete it and associated data automatically, unless we are required to retain it for a longer period by law.
Connecting Strava is optional. You can remove the connection at any time from within the app or directly through your Strava account settings. When you disconnect, all Strava-linked data associated with your account is removed.
Cade contains no advertising SDKs and no third-party behavioural tracking. We do not sell your data.
